Dacia introduced the third generation of the Duster in the international market in early 2024. The introduction of the off-road capable SUV in the international market bolstered the anticipation for the launch of the Renault badged version of the car in the domestic market. While the event is still far in the future, and the timeline is unclear, the tuners have already started designing modified renders of the model. The first render of the Renault Duster (internationally Dacia Duster) has been created by Carpoint, a German dealer known for creating special edition versions of the Dacia models. With the Renault Duster III Carpoint Edition, the car will get tons of modifications teased in the renders. These modifications include a wide-body kit, a new custom wrap, a lowering kit, and new wheels. All of these elements have been used to transform the tough-looking vehicle into an even more hardcore vehicle. Also Read: Toyota Supra To Get A Naturally Aspirated V8 Engine In A Race Car BodyDiving into the details, the body kit used on the Renault Duster includes new front and rear bumper extensions. These are complemented by flared-out fenders and a hood scoop which are in sync with new door garnishes. To further exaggerate the aggressive presence of the model, the tuners have added red accents highlighting the inlets used across the vehicle's bodywork. It is to be noted that these inlets are not functional and have been used to enhance the aesthetics of the vehicle. It is hard to determine the size of the new alloy wheels used on the SUV. However, considering the proportions they seem to have a diameter of 20 or 21 inches and seem to be wider than the stock units. These add to the menacing looks of the car when combined with lowered suspension which have significantly reduced the ground clearance of the car.The tuners have not revealed any details on the specification changes in the car. When considering the visual appeal, a power boost and a few changes in the chassis might increase the appeal of the car.In its stock version, the third-gen Renault Duster gets a hybrid and a mild-hybrid powertrain. The self-charging hybrid powertrain produces 138 hp of power. Meanwhile, the second option offers 128 hp of power with an AWD setup.
