Nikita Porwal from Madhya Pradesh was crowned Femina Miss India World 2024 on Wednesday night in Mumbai. Hailing from the sacred city of Ujjain, Nikita grew up with a passion for storytelling. She decided to bring her passion of storytelling to life by getting involved in theatre, where she performed in over 60 plays and even wrote a 250-page play titled Krishna Leela. Nikita is also a part of a feature film that has been showcased at international festivals, and will soon be released in India. She lives by the motto, "Be a life that matters, a loss that's felt." A fan of former Miss World and actor Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Nikita loves her elegance and intellect. "She embodies the perfect blend of beauty and brains, showcasing a captivating combination of poise, sharp wit, and effortless charm. Her ability to proudly celebrate her Indian heritage while embracing modernity with ease is truly admirable, making her a shining example of a woman who embodies both grace and substance," she said in a Q&A.
The stunning young woman from Madhya Pradesh is an animal lover and believes that as humans, "our gift of reason and development should not only serve our own interests but also be used to benefit the creatures who depend on us entirely." Nikita adds, "We need to cherish and protect them, preserve the harmony of our shared world, and recognise that our actions have a profound impact on their lives." A deep sense of responsibility and passion fuels her ambitions and she dreams of working with filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali. While most of us might name someone else when asked about the most influential person in our lives, Nikita proudly asserts, "I'm the most influential person. When I look back and see how far I've come, I realise I have the power to shape my future. This motivates me to be better every day and reach my full potential." Now that's the perfect role model that all girls need! You may also like
