KOPPAL: NS Boseraju, the minister for minor irrigation, expressed that the govt does not regret the statements made by B.R. Patil, who asserted that housing allocations would only occur if the Rajiv Gandhi Housing Corporation received funding.

During a press conference held at the Congress party office on Sunday, he highlighted that Patil is a seasoned politician recognised for his straightforwardness. "All activities, from gram panchayat members to MLAs, will proceed if they are lawful," he confirmed.
"Nevertheless, the govt takes his remarks seriously. I requested Patil to submit a complaint along with evidence that outlines the particular instance of injustice," Boseraju stated.

He criticised the Union govt for its lack of collaboration, despite the agreement among the states involved in the implementation of inter-state water projects.

Expressing his dissatisfaction, he mentioned that Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana devised a plan for the execution of the Navali parallel reservoir project. Even though the elected representatives from all three states sought the Union's support, it was not provided.
