Mangaluru: BJP state president BY Vijayendra visited Sri Nagabrahma Adimogerkala Daivasthana, Shri Guliga Daiva, and Koragajja Daivasthana in Jayanagar, Sullia, on Saturday, to participate in a festival dedicated to Koragajja Daiva. His visit was to fulfil a vow for Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The BJP Jayanagar Booth Committee and Sullia town Mahashakti Kendra of the party vowed for Narendra Modi to become Prime Minister for the third time. Through Dakshina Kannada MP Capt Brijesh Brijesh Chowta, the Sullia BJP will send the sacred prasada of the Koragajja deity to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, said party sources.
Special Harake Nema of Koragajja Daiva and the Tambila Seve (offerings) were held. Party workers extended an invitation to Raghavendra, and accordingly, he participated in the festival and received the sacred ‘Kari Gandha Prasada' on the occasion.
Sullia MLA Bhagirathi Murulya, MP Capt Chowta, and other BJP leaders took part in the festival. Later, Vijayendra participated in a convention of BJP workers who were elected to various cooperative societies in the Sullia assembly constituency.
