Jamshedpur: A total of 25 teams from across the country are participating in the 20th National Creativity olympiad (NCO) 2025, with a focus on science and technology, in Jamshedpur. The two-day contest would conclude on April 20.
The Institution of Engineers (India), the event organiser, designed the contest to promote critical scientific thinking and advanced mathematical ability among participants. "From science and physics to mathematics, arts, and general knowledge, the format has been designed to nurture innovative thinking," said organizing chairman Satish Kumar Tiwary.
The competition began with analytical challenge, modeled on Shark Tank, where participants were provided with materials to develop solutions to engineering problems.
Organizing secretary Rajesh Kumar said the olympiad would evaluate participants' creative ability, hands-on skills, and spontaneity.
