GATE registration 2026 : The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati has activated the link for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2026 from today, August 28, 2025. The direct application link is now active on the official portal, gate2026.iitg.ac.in. The national entrance test will be conducted on February 7, 8, 14, and 15, 2026, across two shifts daily. Candidates will appear in a computer-based test (CBT) during either the forenoon session from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM or the afternoon session from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM. The examination will be held across multiple test centres in India and abroad.

• Complete the registration process to generate login credentials, including an enrollment ID and password.
  
• Log in with the generated credentials and fill out the GATE 2026 application form with accurate personal, academic, and communication details.
  
• Upload scanned copies of the required documents, such as photograph, signature, and category certificate (if applicable), in the prescribed format.
  
• Proceed to pay the application fee online through debit card, credit card, net banking, or UPI, as per the category and registration period.
