Sachin- Jigar on judging Sa Re Ga Ma Pa

Bollywood composers Sachin Sanghvi and Jigar Saraiya make their television debut as judges on Sa Re Ga Ma Pa 2024. While the duo is known for delivering songs like Taras, Tere Vaaste and Tum Bin, they are excited about this new journey.
Talking about what are they are looking forward to in this journey, Sachin says, "We have never kept ourselves above anything when it comes to singing. We approach it as students even today and no matter how many songs become hits, we are still grounded. Similarly, now that we are judgingSa Re Ga Ma Pa, we are looking for fresh talent. As Bollywood singers and composers, we don't get the chance to go to the grass level to find talent and this show is like an opportunity to connect with the young talent and know their journey."

He adds, "Some singers are good at Bollywood songs, some are good at Indie songs, our job is to see their potential and guide them."

Jigar talks about how he sees himself in these young kids. He says, "We are looking for good voices and here through this show, we are hearing such great voices and I am glad that we got a chance to be part of their journey."

He adds, "When we see youngsingers, it takes us back to the times when we started out. When I began as a singer, I would have been happy to be on a show like this. I treat the contestants accordingly and advise them on the mistakes to avoid which I made early on."
