Aamir Khan’s brother Faisal Khan, known for his role in the film Mela, once made serious claims against the superstar. He accused Aamir of keeping him locked up and trying to take away his freedom. Faisal even took the matter to court to prove that he was mentally fit.

Clarification on Health Rumours

In 2008, Faisal Khan told HT that he was never truly unwell. He said the claims about his mental health were just assumptions made by his elder brother Aamir Khan and some family members, which led to misunderstandings about his condition.

Court Verdict in Faisal’s Favour

Faisal claimed he was kidnapped and kept under house arrest, where he was given medicines he didn’t need. During the court case, the judge ruled that Faisal wasn’t suffering from any illness. He was found mentally fit and capable of living independently, and the judge advised treating him like any normal person.

Faisal’s Experience of Being “Caged”

In an interview with Etimes, Faisal Khan revealed that he was once "caged" in his brother Aamir Khan’s house. He said, “There’s no fun in being caged. I’ve experienced it once at Aamir’s place. I don’t want to go through that again. I want to live freely and flow like water.”

Choosing Forgiveness Over Grudges

In a conversation with Mukesh Khanna, Faisal Khan shared that although he hasn’t forgotten the past differences with his brother Aamir Khan, he has decided to forgive him and move on.

Faisal Khan was recently seen attending Aamir Khan’s daughter Ira Khan’s wedding and reception in Mumbai, where he was spotted and photographed at the event.
