"Buddy say hello to Steph": Steve Kerr showcases his quick wit to Buddy Hield who missed a wide-open Stephen Curry

Send Push
Stephen Curry is undoubtedly one of the greatest shooters the NBA has ever seen. So when his teammates seem to miss him while he is wide open and chucks a shot, well... No wonder the coach is prone to getting a few grey hairs. Not Steve Kerr , though; the Golden State Warriors coach is keeping things moving and well with his usually witty responses to the players and other people alike.

Steve Kerr has a hilarious reaction to Buddy Hield missing Stephen Curry

The Golden State Warriors faced the Phoenix Suns on the road but won the game by a pretty good margin. The scoreline at the last buzzer read 95-133 in favor of the Warriors, so the game went pretty well for the San Francisco team. But during the match, Buddy Hield seemingly missed quite a few passes to a wide-open Steph Curry, and his coach Steve Kerr had the perfect response for it.

"I want you guys to meet each other. Buddy, say hello to Steph. He's the greatest shooter in the world, wide open."

The conversation was picked up by the courtside mic, as Kerr left Hield blubbering with a pat on the back and a chuckle. The player was trying to explain that Curry being open happened a little later, and he had already made his pass by then, but Kerr moved on without adding more to the conversation, except a little, "I love you, Buddy."

Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors are having a phenomenal time right now

Stephen Curry And the Golden State Warriors are currently on a golden run as they move to finish their regular season before playoffs begin. They have won all but one in their last seven games, losing to Western Conference second-seed Houston Rockets 106-96. From the Grizzlies to the Lakers to the Nuggets, all have recently fallen at the hands of the Warriors, specifically Steph Curry, who has been a nightmare player for his opponents.

But after the loss against the Rockets, they were back in form against the Suns, and Curry was once again the highest scorer of the night, scoring 25 points in 26 minutes of game time, along with 6 assists and 9 rebounds. The Warriors will next be facing the San Antonio Spurs, the Portland Trail Blazers, and finally, the Los Angeles Clippers before moving on to the Playoffs.
