The news was posted on social media on April 7, where she announced the name of her newborn, Carter Michael Gaudreau . Johnny Gaudreau 's sister also showed her love and support while congratulating the new mother with heartfelt Instagram stories.

Meredith Gaudreau announced in an emotional Instagram post that the baby weighed precisely 8lb 3oz and was 20.5 inches long, just like his deceased dad, Johnny Gaudreau. She also posted that baby Carter looks ‘exactly like his daddy’.
The heartfelt dedication to Johnny Gaudreau, who tragically died in a devastating accident a mere seven months ago, has touched hearts as much as those of his loved ones, with the Gaudreau family consistently demonstrating strength as they continue to support each other through this moving chapter.
