Projected Earnings and Government Support
The film is anticipated to earn around Rs 100 crore globally on its opening day, positioning it as one of the largest mythological releases in Telugu cinema. Reports suggest that the opening day collection in India could exceed Rs 30 crore. Trade analyst Ramesh Bala expressed optimism on social media, stating, 'Expecting #Kannappa to be a Pan-India Blockbuster with grand visuals and an epic story brought to life on screen.'
In light of the film's popularity, the Andhra Pradesh government has approved a ticket price increase of Rs 50, similar to a recent adjustment made for another film.
Official Ticket Price Increase Announcement
An official order regarding the ticket price hike has surfaced online. The statement indicated, 'After careful consideration of the request from Sri M Mohan Babu, Producer of M/s Twenty Four Frames Factory Pvt. Ltd., the Government permits all theaters in Andhra Pradesh to raise ticket prices by up to Rs 50 + GST for 'Multiplexes' and 'Single Screens' (limited to higher class tickets) for a period of ten days starting from the film's release on June 27, 2025.'

Kannappa is set to be released on over 5,400 screens worldwide, including 4,300 in India and 1,100 internationally, marking it as the largest release for a Telugu mythological film.
Directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh, the film tells the story of a hunter who becomes a devotee of Lord Shiva. Vishnu Manchu portrays Thinnandu/Kannappa, while Akshay Kumar plays Lord Shiva and Kajal Aggarwal takes on the role of Goddess Parvati. The cast also includes notable actors like Mohan Babu, Sharat Kumar, and Prabhas in a special appearance as Rudra.
